With the community of Jarales having one primary road in and out of the community across BNSF railroad tracks, the need for a safe, uninterrupted route has been a growing concern for our neighbors. In 2020 it was announced that a partnership between NMDOT and BNSF had been reached to address this growing problem.
As your commissioner, Morris will continue to be involved in the design and build of the project, hold project partners accountable, and ensure that the residence of Jarales are heard and advocated for in order to make this project successful to the community and the county.
